Healthy Snacks for Football Fans
There is nothing better than sitting down in front of your television with a few friends to look at the “footie”. You have you top, youv’e settled into the couch and the ref is just about to start the game.
More than likely you have a tin of beer in one hand and a jumbo packed of crisps in the other. Hardly the “food of Champions” , having nibbles throughout the game is essential but make sure they are healthy treats and you do not score any “own goals”.
Instead of a packet of greasy jumbo crisps why not go for popcorn or toasted tortilla wraps. Raw carrot or celery with flavoured dips are also perfect snacking food. If you are going for peanuts or crackers make sure they are unsalted. Most importantly eat in moderation. Why not wait till half time to tuck in. Most imortant of all remember to enjoy the month long World Cup party and pace yourself
