Putting together a party for your child is no easy task. It involves a lot of planning and preparation. Traditionally guests receive a party bag as they leave and it is a super opportunity for you to leave a lasting impression. The party  bag does not have to include expensive gimmicks in order to impress.  Homemade trinkets are just as likely to create a lasting impression. By putting extra effort into the party bag you are showing your guests how much you appreciate them.

Having said all that there are many other occassions when a party bag is appropriate. It is not only children who like  receiving gifts, no matter how small.

Hen Parties : I have stopped been surprised at how much effort goes into hen parties these days. In my day it was one  night only in a local “hot spot” .  How things have changed. Not only do hens dress up for the occassion but in many cases they jet off to a foreign location. Hen night party bags are now becomming very popular. They can be handed out at either the beginning of the party or as the hens go home.  In a lot of cases they are filled with goodies such as willy whistles, dare cards and sashes. Whatever you decide upon they are great ice breakers as well as a laugh.

Weddings : Guests at weddings are now been treated to table gifts. Cigars, picture frames and jewellry are some of the gifts been given to wedding
guests. Many of the gifts are meant as a token to remember the wedding day and are customised by adding the date of the wedding.

Baby Showers : Baby showers are traditionally a very American party but as with most things they are now becomming part and parcel of Irish life. If a baby shower is been hosted for you then why not say thanks with a party bag. Cosmetics., perfume and music are all appropriate but
it is really up to you.

As you can see party bags are not only for children’s parties but are becoming part of all festive occassions.
