If you assemble and present the party bags in more ornate and fancy packaging the guests will leave with a broad smile on their face.  I am  not suggesting that the quality of the favours is ignored all I am saying is that a little thought and effort spent on the packaging will turn a standard party bag in a unique and treasured gift.

When you are in the thick of organising a party any deviation from the standard option can seem like a mountain to climb but sometimes a few
words of advice or suggestions can make things a little clearer.  So here are some quick ideas and tips regarding the party bags.

PACKAGING
At childrens parties the party bag presents tend to be packed into a themed plastic party bag.  These are perfectly acceptable but if you wanted something a little more interesting how about a fabric party bag with draw stings at the top.  A little bit like a marble bag. These could be embriodered with the name of the guest or if this seems like too much work then a simple
name tag about the size of a business card is just as good.

Organza party bags are also a very elegant way of presenting a party gift. They are probably more suitable for adult events such as weddings but I have also seen them used at Chrstening and Holy communion parties. They are made of light see through material and are normally tied at the top with a nice bow.

The only drawback with using more ornate bags is that they tend to be a little smaller than the average party bags. Having said that
you can always choose the party favours to suit the bag.

Boxes
Instead of using party bags you can also use party boxes for the gifts. Party boxes are usually used for serving food but they  are equally useful  as party bags.  If you do use party boxs then you will have to get some sort of “filler” as the presents will “rattle” around if you don’t add the “filler” .

GAMES
If you have a limited number of guests and by that I mean ten or less you could add a little excitment to the process of handing out the party bags by having a mini treasure hunt or party bag lucky dip.

The above are just a few simple ideas as to how you can do something a little different with the party bags. In reality the personalisation of party bags works best for smaller parties.  Unless you have a lot of time you are probably better off  going for the pre filled party bag option.
